Hi there!
A client uses Quickbooks Online and we need to be able to see the company file on a Quickbooks Desktop version (we use Quickbooks Premiere - Accountant version). We don't want to disturb or permanently move the data; we just want to make a copy of it from the online version and be able to see it on our office computer. (we've had issues with Quickbooks Online in general - so viewing from our Quickbooks Desktop version will hopefully be much more efficient for our purposes).
What is the best way to do this so that it doesn't cause more headaches?
Thank you so much!!!!
Your client is using QBO US version, correct?

Hi there,
Yes, thank you - they are using the US version of Quickbooks Online. Our main concern was that we didn't want to inadvertently delete, modify or move the data - we just wanted to copy it. :)
QBO and QBD are 2 different products. You can convert data from QBO to QBD and their QBO account will remain intact.
Hi @ArtyFacts123,
I have some information about creating a copy of your company file. Since QuickBooks Online (QBO) and QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) are in different platforms, creating a copy to view QBO copy file in QBDT is unavailable. You can only move QBO to QBDT files.
I'm also adding these links below in case you need help with other QBO and QBDT related tasks. It contains topics with articles and some videos to guide you along. Just choose a title that'll fit your concern.
