Let's dive into the details and review the payment transactions showing more in QuickBooks Online (QBO) than in your actual credit card statement, @Cristi29.
To ensure your financial records are accurate, it's important to review the payments for any duplicates. Sometimes, they occur for various reasons, such as manual entry or syncing issues.
Once you've confirmed they're duplicate transactions, we can delete them from the register.
Here's how:
- Go to the Gear icon and select Chart of Accounts.
- Locate the account and click View Register under the Action column.
- Select the payment transaction, then Delete.
- Click Yes to confirm.
It's also essential to ensure that only transactions reflected on your actual statement are selected when reconciling the credit card account.
After reconciling, you can view the reconciliation report to ensure transparency and accuracy.
Please don't hesitate to reach out if you need further assistance or have any questions about reconciliation. Your success is our priority, and we're here to support you every step of the way. Stay safe, and have a good one.
