Buy now & saveI just migrated from Desktop after 20 years to Online Advanced. In Desktop, I used Custom Fields to track keep track of different types of equipment in customer's homes, i.e. water heaters, sump pumps, etc. When that information was entered for a customer in Desktop it would re-populate the next time I created a new invoice or estimate and I would just update the information as needed. However, in Online Advanced, the Custom Field data does not seem to re-populate when creating new invoices. The fields are blank. Is there a way to make the data re-populate or is the data only saved for the individual invoice for reporting purposes. The only reason I upgraded to Advanced was to be able to create more than 3 Custom Fields.
Hello, Mike.
When you create a new invoice or estimate, those custom fields won’t automatically pull in information from past transactions or customer records. This means you’ll need to fill them in manually each time you create a new invoice or estimate.
However, we encourage you to send us your feedback. This enables our product developers to consider including this functionality in future updates.
