Let me help with your question about putting the customer on hold, fcegene.
Certainly, you can temporarily deactivate the customer in your QBO account. Just follow the steps below.
Here's how:
- Login to QuickBooks Online.
- Go to the Sales menu and proceed to the Customers tab.
- Look for the name of the customer and click on it.
- Click the Edit button in the upper-right-hand corner.
- Select Make inactive.
- Click Yes.
To re-engage the customer, revisit the same page and click the "Make Active" button located in the upper-right-hand corner. For more details, refer to this article.: Add and Manage Customers in QuickBooks Online.
However, there's no option to do the same for invoices. Instead, you'll need to delete or void them. Refer to this article as a guide: Void or Delete Transactions in QuickBooks Online.
Feel free to check out this video tutorial in case you’re interested in sharing the same process with your vendors. It’s a great resource: How to Manage Your Vendors List.
We have your back if you have additional questions as you go through the steps. Have a great day!
