Customer gets 2 emails when invoice is emailed QB Desktop

When I email an invoice to a customer, two identical emails are sent every single time. QB Desktop Pro 2020. It's been doing this forever. Please help me make it stop, it's completely unprofessional looking for me.

Allow me to share some guidelines you can perform to give a fix to this issue. You'll want to utilize the Verify and Rebuild Data feature in your company file. This is to help us determine if there are issues with your company data. Here's how:

 

  1. Choose Window then Close All.
  2. Verify Data. Choose File then Utilities. Select Verify Data. If you see:
  • "QuickBooks detected no problems with your data," no further action is needed.
  • A specific error message, there may already be an article for it. Try searching for it on our QuickBooks Desktop support site for specific instructions.
  • "Your data has lost integrity," indicates there is data damage in the file. Continue to the steps below to Rebuild Data to correct the problem.

I have used the Verify Data and the result was no problems were detected. However, QB still sends two emails every time I invoice a customer.

Thanks for coming back and letting us know what you tried. 

 

Since you've already tried using the Verify and Rebuild data tool, I recommend contacting our Customer Support Team for further assistance. This may be a simple minor issue that could be causing this to occur. They'll be able to review your account with a screen share tool to see why this is happening. 

 

  1. Go to the Help menu. 
  2. Tap the QuickBooks Desktop Help option. 
  3. Click Contact Us hyperlink/button. 
  4. Enter your question and hit Let's talk
  5. Scroll down and pick to Get a callback

 

It's that easy!

Customer gets 2 emails when invoice is emailed QB Desktop

Once again, Intuit support continues to disappoint. Yes, I called and was provided an option of purchasing support or receiving an email with step by step instructions on how to fix it. The emailed step by step instructions only show how to originally connect Outlook for emailing invoices. Useless "help". So my only option is to pay for support to maybe fix faulty software.
