2 questions.1: A client switched from desktop to online and the customers job title field in desktop didn't transfer to online. I have it in a spreadsheet but can't import it because the rest of the customers data already transferred so quickbooks online sees it as a duplicates and won't import it. Anyone have any suggestions for how to get the data in qbo without manual entry? 2: same client has customers that have authorized him to charge their card to pay down invoices over time. whats the best way to schedule these payments in qbo so qb payments automatically processes their card on the scheduled date and reduces their invoice balance accordingly. I tried the recieve payments but if you check the process card box it processes it immediately. If I set up recurring sales receipts it won't reduce the invoice nor will it show up in reports until the card is processed which affects his AP... anyone have experience in this area that can suggest a good solution. I tried xalling qbo customer service and they are clueless and the online forums haven't been helpful either so I'm hoping one of you have experience with these scenarios.
Greetings, @RJ87.
Welcome to the Community! I'd be more than happy to give you some insight on import customers and auto pay/recurring transactions.
As for your first question about importing customers, the best route to get the job title listed in the customer's profile would be to enter it manually. The reason being is because you've already imported the customers and will cause duplicates to occur.
For future reference, check out this guide that could assist your business: Move your lists to QuickBooks Online.
As for your second question about auto pay and recurring transactions, there's an option that might work for you. I suggest creating a recurring invoice and then setting auto pay up for that invoice. This should resolve all the issues you're having. Here's how to do so:
Set up recurring invoices
From there, you can help your customer(s) set up Auto Pay through this article: Set up Autopay for recurring invoices in QuickBooks Online.
This should do the trick. I'm only a post away if you have any other questions or concerns. Have a wonderful day!

You have no choice but to migrate the Jobs manually. Otherwise, buy a third party service to convert data from Desktop to a new Online account (including the Jobs), then merge data from old QBO account.
