Data entry

My register's data entries don't appear until after I click tab to go into the next data point. So, typing blindly, I'm hoping the data is spelled correctly.  Nothing seems to fix it -- I condensed my data, verified everything in utilities, but nothing helps. My OS is Sequoia 15.5.  Any suggestions?

Let's start by confirming that your QBDT Mac is updated to the latest release, Lisa.

To start with, may I know what version of QBDT Mac you are currently using? Also, please know that QuickBooks regularly releases updates to improve your experience and address any issues and it’s important to stay current.

Here's how you can check it:

  1. Open QuickBooks Desktop for Mac.
  2. Press Command + 1 to open the Product Information window.
  3. Check your current version and release.

To see if you have the updated release you can refer to this article: Release notes for QuickBooks Mac Plus 2022.

On the top of that, QBDT Mac is no longer possible for the 2022 below version as it was discontinued on September 20, 2024, and they introduced the Intuit Enterprise Suite and QuickBooks Online.

For more details on the discontinuation, please refer to this article: QuickBooks Desktop 2022 service discontinuation policy.

However, if you're using QBDT Mac 2023 or 2024 version and updated to the latest release but still your data entries are not showing, I recommend contacting the QBDT Mac Live Support Team for secure assistance in resolving the issue.

  1. Open your QBDT Mac and Go to the Help tab.
  2. Click the QuickBooks Desktop Help/Contact Us.
  3. Type in any keyword that relates to your data entries.
  4. Select Contact Us to be connected to expert help.

The available hours for Mac support are Monday - Friday 6 AM to 6 PM.
