We haven't received similar reports about the dates on some reports. Let's try to update your QuickBooks for Mac.
Sometimes, issues might arise because the version you're using is outdated. You can update your version to the latest release to isolate the issue.
There are two options in updating your QuickBooks. First is to update it directly from QuickBooks. Here's how:
- Go to the QuickBooks Desktop menu and select Check for QuickBooks Updates.
- If a newer version of QuickBooks Desktop is available, click Install Update.
- When prompted, click Install and Relaunch. When the update is complete QuickBooks Desktop for Mac will automatically open.
Also, you can manually update your QuickBooks by following these steps:
- Uninstall QuickBooks for Mac.
- Reinstall the latest version.
If you're experiencing the same issue, you'll need to rebuild your company's data. Let me show you how:
- Go to the File menu, then select Utilities and Rebuild Data.
- On the QuickBooks Information window, select OK.
- Follow the prompts to save a backup. Note that when your computer displays QuickBooks is not responding, but you're still able to move your cursor, rebuild is still ongoing.
- Select OK when you see Rebuild has completed.
