Buy nowwe've noticed an issue where decimal values sometimes change when syncing with the erp. for example, entering a credit card fee of 15.12 in the erp shows up as 15.13 in quickbooks. we've tested this in the sandbox, and the correct values are being sent. any guidance on this?
QuickBooks rounds any transaction amounts into two decimal points, including data from integrated apps like ERP, Pallavi.
It means that if you have an entry from ERP amounting to 15.125, once synced, QuickBooks will automatically round the value to 15.13. Please know that SandBox's system does not directly follow this guideline.
To handle this situation, you can manually change the Credit Card (CC) fee Amount directly in QuickBooks:
Take note that the interface varies by transaction type, and the image I've provided is a sample from a regular QuickBooks expense entry.

We are sending 2 decimal from the database.
Thank you for keeping us updated about this, Pallavi-sharma.
Since the data from Sandbox ERP is already in 2 decimal and still not sync properly with QuickBooks Online, I'd recommend reposting this query in the Intuit Developer's Community. This is where API integration issues are addressed by engineers or personnel with expertise in third-party applications, particularly if you are developing an app for QuickBooks Online.
After settling the differences and syncing concerns, you can go back to QuickBooks Online and review the amounts. Make sure the data on your reports are accurate for you to reconcile the accounts in the future.
We'll get back to you if you require additional assistance.
