somehow i have changed my Expense entry page to design mode. How do i get it back to the original view?

Could you please explain how you accessed the design mode for your Expense entry page in QuickBooks? Design Mode

I have no idea how i got to this mode. As you can see from the screen shot, there are lines in the lower right hand corner of the column headers that aren't there on any other page. the scale is larger than all of the other pages in the account. I can still do data entry but the more data on each page, the slower it responds. I chatted yesterday with Patrick, but he was no help. he said it was either my browser or internet speed. Once i finally convinced him that wasn't the problem, he had me give a feedback on the expense page so that the techs would realize there is a problem and redesign the software, which i don't think is the problem either. It is only in this company and only on the expenses data entry page that the design is different. None of our other companies with QB have this issue. Any help you can give will be appreciated.

That's what the new design is when creating an expense in QBO. If removing the border on the expense window would improve your workflow. I encourage submitting additional feature requests to eliminate them directly to our development team. They actively consider customer suggestions when planning future updates and enhancements to QuickBooks. 


Here's how:


  1. Go to the Gear icon at the top.
  2. Select Feedback.
  3. Enter your comments or product suggestions. Then select Next to submit feedback.
