Desktop Pro upgrade to 2023

I am a very small business, just me. Every year since 2000 I have gotten a discount by calling Intuit or purchased the disk from Costco or Amazon to upgrade to the next year-my renewal date is in Nov. This year it looks like I have to renew through Intuit($1023 +taxes), disks are no longer available. I don't use a lot of the features but do use payroll to pay myself, for quarterly and year end reports and payments, inventory, creating PO's and reports & online banking. I have researched online QB and don't want to make the change, I have a program that creates invoices from my cart, inputs cc info(card not present) for processing and also inputs into stamps.com for labels. I don't want to reinvent the wheel, everything works smoothly now. Are there any other cheaper options besides converting to QB online? I have Desktop Pro Plus 2022 with payroll and need to renew soon? I was under the impression that each year of Desktop would be good for 3 years and I really only had to upgrade payroll yearly-although it was cheaper to just buy to whole package each year on disk.

If you are using the Plus edition, it means you are using a subscription license and you have to renew it every year. You don't need to upgrade your version to 2023 but they want you to keep paying for the annual subscription. Login to your CAMPS as the Primary Contact to check your license information.

Desktop Pro upgrade to 2023

Thank you for consistently choosing our product as your business partner, wendyqme.

Every year we are committed to give you the best features, reports, and tools in managing your business. Thus, we raise our prices on a regular basis in order to provide you with the best product possible.

Also, the life cycle of one-time license or non-subscription software is three years. For example, if you purchased a one-time license of QuickBooks Desktop 2021, it is recommended that you upgrade by 2024. You can continue to use the old QuickBooks Desktop if your computer's operating system is still compatible with it.

However, some features, such as payroll and online banking, will be discontinued. Furthermore, once you've reached the three-year life cycle, there will be no more system updates or support for any issues that may arise. You can read this article for more info: QuickBooks Desktop service discontinuation policy.

If you'd like to have the best offers for your upgrade, I recommend getting in touch with our Support Team.

Typical lazy response. DId you even read his question. He specifically stated he has QB 2022. So your answer does not even reply.

Dont answer if you are not going to read the question.

To the original question, yes you have to pay every year, Quickbooks is a subpar product that has figured out how to keep the money rolling in. Remember, shareholders come first!!
