Developing an integration

My company offers software for SMB's and we have a need to integrate with QBO, specifically we want to make journal entries from our software for the customers using QBO.  I'm about to start developing this and I'm looking for advice on best practices.  I could sign up and pay for a fictitious company and use that to develop/test against.  But is there some specific developer license I can get for this purpose?

Developing an integration

Let me help get you pointed in the right direction for assistance in integrating SMB with QuickBooks Online, leasecake.

We have a separate forum where you can interact with fellow developers, product experts, and engineers about software, API, or developer license-related questions.

I encourage posting this question to our Intuit Developer Community. They have the tools and resources available to assist with the integration. Here's how"

  1. In your browser, enter this link: https://developer.intuit.com/app/developer/homepage.
  2. From there, tap the Sign In or Sign Up button to create an account.
