I have a dialog box in the middle of my screen that won't go away. The message says QuickBooks Unrecoverable Error. A data issue prevents QuickBooks from continuing. Rebuild Data.
It also gives me a number for support.
I have worked with support to determine that this is not a data problem, it is a QuickBooks problem. When I call the support number in the box the person on the line said that it would cost me $800 to have my "data" fixed. Since then I have spent hours with support going over the same things and nothing works. I have a combination of QuickBooks 2022 and Windows 11. I can use my QuickBooks and am working around the dialog box, but really need to know if someone else has had this problem.
This isn't the experience we want you to have, dawnachase.

The box was not there when I opened my QuickBooks yesterday. I am hopeful that it stays that way. Thank you for the information above, but I have gone through all of that several times with support. I am not sure what was happening, but for the time being appears to have self corrected.
Thank you!
