There appears to be a handful of direct deposits that did not post to the bank register. They appear on the Paycheck List, but not in the bank register of the assigned bank account in QuickBooks Online. I've searched the Audit Log, Transaction Journal and other bank accounts' registers, but cannot seem to find these direct deposits, besides, of course, the bank feeds, which do not include the direct deposits' details. Does anyone have any suggestions on where I might find them or be able to trace them to in order to possibly allocate the misstep? Thank you, in advance, for your help.
I'm here to help you in locating that payroll transaction, JN33.
After running your payroll, the direct deposit paychecks will be posted to the bank account you selected during the process. You'll want to make sure that there are no filters applied to the bank register so you can see all the transactions. Here's how:
If you're still unable to view the transactions, I'd recommend performing some basic troubleshooting steps to isolate the issue. It could be that the accumulated cache is the root cause of this unusual behavior. You can start by opening your QuickBooks company using a private or incognito window. These are the shortcut keys:
If the paychecks are now showing, switch back to your regular browser and then clear its cache to delete the get rid of the junk files. Using other supported browsers can also help fix the problem.
Lastly, I've added an article that will guide you in tracking payroll transactions in the program: Run payroll report.
Feel welcome to tag me in your comments and posts if you need more help in completing your other payroll tasks. Have a great day ahead.

Hello there, @yogaloungeleba. I want to ensure you'll be able to see the direct deposits in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
Thanks for joining this thread. If you haven't yet, you can check the other accounts in your register. Might be that the direct deposits are recorded under a different account. To do so, simply open a paycheck in the Paycheck Lists and see the Paid section. You'll see there the bank account where the funds were taken out. Here's how:
However, if you're still unable to see the deposits, I highly recommend reaching out to our Payroll support team. Once connected, you can request a screen-sharing session so they can further review your set up. They'll be able to help you locate the missing transactions.
It's also easy to track your payroll details, employee information, and business finances by running a payroll report in QBO. For detailed instructions, check out this link: Run payroll reports in QuickBooks Online Payroll.
I'm just around the corner to help if you have any other concerns about direct deposits in QBO. Please don't hesitate to post again here. Have a good one and keep safe.
I spent 2.5 hours on the phone this morning (after hours two weeks ago) with someone trained to "Payroll Elite" that kept saying my bank feed was the problem. I have two paychecks missing from my bank register. Still not resolved. Clear misunderstanding of reps dealing with this - it is a payroll issue, not a bank feed issue.
