Since your permissions are already enabled, here are some fixes you can do to solve this matter:
First, verify that Auto-tracking is toggled ON within the QuickBooks app and ensure your device settings allow the app to run in the background. Without background access, the app will only track trips while it is actively open on your screen.
If those settings are correct but the issue persists, you may need to reset your GPS connection, as the link between the app and your hardware can occasionally become loose. To fix this, try toggling the Auto-tracking feature OFF for ten seconds before turning it back on, or perform a force restart by swiping the app closed and reopening it.
For a more thorough reset, you can log out, uninstall the app, and restart your phone before reinstalling, which forces a fresh authentication with your device's GPS.
Furthermore, if you are using an iPhone, it is important to check your Significant Locations setting. If this cache is full or glitched, the app may fail to wake up when you begin driving, so ensure this remains toggled ON within your privacy and location settings.
