Why this option Quickbooks lab not appear in setting, how come? I bought the upper level of QBO - Advanced version, someone can help me? I need to import a template made it in QB desktop designer
Welcome to the Community, @PMONC.
Let me provide information on why the QuickBooks lab is not appearing in your QuickBooks Online (QBO) settings.
As of 05/23/2023, QuickBooks Labs is no longer available for all QBO customers in all regions. That's why you're unable to see it on the Gear icon. With this update, QuickBooks Labs and all experimental features will also be gone (such as the Themes feature).
Additionally, we have decided to allow customers who had enabled Themes in QuickBooks Labs to continue accessing this feature temporarily. However, existing customers who had previously enabled Themes will still have access to them. To access Themes, simply go to the Gear icon and select Themes. Please note that any new or existing users who haven't enabled this feature in the past will no longer have the option to use it, as QuickBooks Labs has been officially removed. Also, the feature to import templates from QBDT to QBO is currently unavailable.
For future reference, you can check this article to guide you in knowing your dashboard and the different views in QBO: Get started and adjust settings after you sign up for QuickBooks Online.
Please feel free to leave a comment if you have further questions about QuickBooks Labs or other QBO-related concerns. I'll be happy to assist you.
But this qbdt option to import a template, how is it possible that it is no longer available? The nature of a company in its invoice is different, you cannot assume that this format must be standard, it does not make sense, please tell me how I can add other columns to the online invoice, I am paying $100 monthly for the QBO Advanced, If This is not possible, give me my money back and I won't continue using Quickbooks anymore.
I wish I could make it better. I can also see the importance of being able to import templates in QuickBooks Online (QBO). Let me provide you with some information so this will be taken care of, PMONC.

Hello there, @PMONC. I understand you're facing challenges importing your data to QuickBooks Online (QBO). Know that this isn't the experience we want you to have.
QuickBooks Online (QBO) and QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) are two distinct software products. They have significant differences in features and functionalities, which vary.
Furthermore, thank you for providing a screenshot. An error like this happens when your sales tax is on and you attempt to import an invoice transactions. You must turn off your sales tax first to import the invoices successfully. Then, proceed to import your invoices. Please take note that importing invoice templates is no longer available.
Moreover, it's not possible to directly change or convert your QBO subscription into a QBDT license. However, you can purchase a license and transfer your files from QBO to QBDT. Once the files have been moved, please cancel your subscription to avoid any inconvenience.

Hello Janbon, thank you for your response, but at the QBO level it does not allow me to add columns in the invoice, nor does it allow me to move the columns, create new fields or use new formulas, within the body box of the invoice, those are the problems that I have. We are facing up, that is why we have seen that in QBDT you do have that level of customization, but I can't find how to import that previously adjusted template in the QBDT and save it in the QBO, I don't know if you understand me? We have already called support at Intuit and they have told us that they are going to escalate the case to their programmers, but I still do not have the case ticket, how can I import the template?
This isn't the kind of situation we want you to experience. Rest assured, I’ll take note of this feedback and raise this concern with our management team. Your voice is important to us to ensure we give our users the quality service they deserve, PMONC.
We appreciate you for performing the recommended solutions provided by my colleagues. The option to add more columns to an invoice and import invoice template is unavailable in QuickBooks Online (QBO). However, you can use the custom fields features to add more details to your invoices since you are using the QBO Advanced version. You can have up to 12 active custom fields for each type of form (invoice, estimate, purchase order, expense, bill, and so on), and each type of profile (customer and vendor). Besides text, you can also create custom dropdown, date, and number fields. Here's how:
