donations

Hello, I was wondering. I have a thrift store that does a pay/take what you want event where customers get to donate money for the items that they pick out (basically the make up their own price). How to I enter this info into QuickBooks online, since there is no tax on the donations.

Hello @bedilliondeals,

 

You can create a sales receipt for the donations you received from your customers. Let me show you how.

  1. Go to the +New button.
  2. Under CUSTOMERS, select Sales Receipt.
  3. Select a customer and an item of the donation.
  4. Enter the amount you received.
  5. Click Save and close.
