Buy nowHow do I go about changing my return address when I send out invoices? When I originally set up about 10 years ago, I entered my personal email as my return address. I would now like to change it, but have been unable to find help in the help area or from Quickbooks staff. Can anyone guide me through the change?
Hi, Andy. Based on what you've described, it sounds like you wanted to change the return email address printed on invoices. With that, you can go to the My Company menu, click the Pencil icon, scroll down to Company Email field, update the email address, and click OK.
However, if you are referring to something else, please feel free to return to this thread so we can assist you further.

Let me point out I set up my company on Quickbooks for Mac 2010. I believe this is where my issue originates. I now run Quickbooks desktop Mac 2021. Does the info help?

Thank you for clarifying, AndyK1. May I also ask if you are using a webmail service (like Gmail, Yahoo, etc.) or not?
If you are not using webmail, the default return email address is taken from your Company Information, as mentioned by my colleague above, and you can modify it there in the email field.
However, if you are using webmail, your old return address is likely saved in your Email Preferences, and you can select your email account to update it.
