In QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT), you will receive an incorrect credentials error message if your Gmail password has been changed. To avoid experiencing this in the future when sending forms, ensure that your login credentials are accurate by logging into your Gmail account via a web browser. If you're unable to log in, this may be the reason for the error you are experiencing.
To rectify this issue, you can recover your Gmail account. Once you've successfully regained access, re-enter your login details in the Send Forms Preferences. It's important to remove the previous connection first, then add your Gmail account again with the updated credentials.

Thank you. I managed to resolve it by removing the gmail completely and re-activating it again in QB. Obviously it was a glitch somewhere in the QB software as there had been no changes to my gmail whatsoever, that being said, it is working again.

I managed to resolve the issue by removing my webmail from QB and adding it again. I believe it must have been some software glitch in QB as I had not made any changes to my gmail but nonetheless, it is now working.

I am still having issues with sending emails. I have removed and added my gmail account, I have even tried a different email account. Still not working. What am I missing?

Since emails aren't sending, I'd initially recommend confirming you're using your product's latest release.
Here's how:
If the update won't advance to the next release number, or you encounter an error during update installation, you can try some of the troubleshooting covered in our Update QuickBooks to the latest release article.
Next, if the problem continues, you can try checking your email settings. Open the online email service and review your settings/filter preferences. These may be blocking emails from QuickBooks by accident. You can check with your email provider if you need assistance finding or adjusting preferences.
Since you're using Gmail, be sure to enable access for less secure apps and also set access preferences for specific apps.
