Hi @desmac,

I'm here to help and get you to log in back to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) company.

The first thing I suggest is to open your browser's private window. It isolates the cache, which is the common cause of a browser's unusual behavior. Hold down Command + Shift + N for Safari to open its private window.

Proceed to log in to your QBO company via the private window. If that works, go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. Otherwise, open an alternative browser that's available for you.

Post a reply if you have other questions for me about your QBO company. I'll be glad to provide further assistance.

I am getting a message saying we're having trouble contacting our authorization servers.  I am running Windows 7.  I have been running QuickBooks online for years and only had one other issue.  Can you help me get logged in.

I'm here to help you log in to your account successfully, @Pittsburgh Southwestern.

QuickBooks Online (QBO) works perfectly with Windows 7 or newer.

There's an ongoing issue when logging in to your QBO account using the desktop application. Our subscribers are encountering the error "We're having trouble contacting our authorization servers. Please retry in a little while."

Our Product Engineering team is already aware of this and is now working on a fix. In the meantime, you can access your account through the web browser by using this link: http://qbo.intuit.com/.

To constantly receive an update about this, you can be added to the email list by reaching out to our Product Support Team. Then, let them add you to Investigation No. 54996.

You can reach our Customer Support for QuickBooks Online (QBO) by going to the Help icon at the top right of the account upon logging in to your account using a web browser. Follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the Help icon to connect to a live support agent.
  2. Provide us with some information about your concern.
  3. Select the Contact Us button and provide some details about this concern, then on the Let's talk button.
  4. You'll now be provided options on how to connect to our Customer Support.

Here's the contact the QuickBooks Online Customer Support team article for more information.

Thank you for your patience while we are working on it. Let me know if there's anything else that I can help with your account by leaving a comment below. Take care and have a wonderful day!
