etsy no longer syncing into self-employed

Thank you for sharing this information, @joinfuncult. Let me recommend some steps to help you sort this out before routing you to our Live Support, as Etsy hasn't synced with QuickBooks since December 31, 2023.

Before routing you to our representatives, have you re-authenticated the connection between your Etsy and QuickBooks by clicking the Refresh all button, navigating the Gear ⚙ icon, and then Manage accounts? This way, we can help you determine if the connection has expired and help you renew it.

If the issue persists, reconnecting your Etsy account in QBSE can help re-sync the bond while retaining prior Etsy data from the previous linkage. It's important not to delete the bank connection because once the connection is deleted, all transaction history will be deleted permanently in QuickBooks. Here's how to reconnect:

1. Go to the Settings ⚙ icon and select Manage accounts.
2. Select Connect another account.
   
   

    

3. In the Search box, enter 'Etsy.'
4. Follow the onscreen instructions to connect your account. QuickBooks Self-Employed will automatically download your recent bank transactions.

If you've already done this, our Live Support has tools to pull up your account in a secure session. Using their tools, they can also help re-trigger the connection between QBSE and Etsy. Here's how to contact them:

1. Login to QBSE.
2. Click Help on the upper right.
3. Select Contact Us.
4. Enter your sync concern between Etsy and QBSE in the 'What can we help you with' box.
5. Hit Continue.
6. Select Chat or Callback.

Please know that they're available every Monday-Friday from 6 am-6 pm PT.

Additionally, there might be transactions that won't sync due to their prior date. Remember, when you connect accounts in QuickBooks, the most extended entries the system can retrieve are up to 90 days. It's best to import missing transactions.
