Export IOP for Accountants to QBO

Client runs payroll through my Intuit Online Payroll for Accountants.  They  just changed  from Quick Books Desktop  to Quick Books Online, setting up  their own account.  How do we export Intuit Online Payroll for Accountants   to their Quick Books Online account?  My Payroll log is will be different than the clients new Quick Books Online log in.  Payroll warns that I will log out of all my Intuit accounts if I change the download e-mail in the clients payroll setup.

Glad to see you here, @crisgps.

I’m here to share some information on how you can successfully move your clients payroll information to QuickBooks Online.

For starters, updating your login information from time to time is part of the security implemented to all products and services. When you update your log in information, you'll have to log out from all of your accounts to make sure the necessary components in the account updated. Once you log in again, you’ll have to verify the account and authenticate it.

On the other hand, this Help article will provide you with step-by-step instructions on exporting your clients Intuit Online Payroll data to QuickBooks Online.

If you’re having difficulty completing the exporting process on your end, I’d recommend reaching out to our Payroll Support Team. A payroll specialist could further assist you via secured remote access session.

Here’s how to contact us:

  1. Visit: https://help.quickbooks.intuit.com/en_US/contact.
  2. Choose your QuickBooks Product
  3. Select Payroll
  4. Choose your type of Payroll Subscription
  5. Go to Payroll
  6. Click on the View Contact Info button to see the support number.

Stay in touch with me if you have other questions about exporting your client’s payroll information to QuickBooks Online.I’m happy to lend a hand.
