Fees

Hello, Ksterling2709.

I'd like to give some idea on $26 dollar charge for March on your payroll service.

The $26 charge is likely related to your direct deposit fee. The way you're charged for the fees depends on your current payroll subscription. Although, the fees may be from other services as well.

Some subscriptions may charge per month and some may charge per payroll.

For more details about this, I would recommend checking this article: QuickBooks Payroll Services and Features for QuickBooks Desktop (scroll down to Is there a limit to the number of employees that I can add to QuickBooks?).

If you'd like to see the total breakdown of the fees and how you are charged when processing direct deposit, we can contact one of the payroll support. They'll pull up your billing details securely and check the charges for March.

Here's how to reach them:

  1. In QuickBooks Desktop, press the F1 key to open the Help window.
  2. On the pop-up window, click the Contact Us button.
  3. When asked, enter something like "See breakdown of the $26 fee" or similar.
  4. Hit Continue, then choose how you want to reach us (either phone or chat).
