Forms to send notification not working properly

For over 2 years, my "You have forms to send" in "Reminders" is not working properly.

It may show there are forms to send, but if I send just 1 form (maybe 20 total in the list), then the Forms to send notification goes away.

If I mark another form to be emailed and save it, then the Forms to send will show back up again.

Also, the email password never saves.

Forms to send notification not working properly

Thanks for alerting us, @HAConcepts. I’m here to help sort this out.

You mentioned you have forms to send in the Reminders isn’t working for over two years. Have you tried performing the Verify and Rebuild Data utilities? It helps determine and troubleshoot potential data issues.

If not yet, I recommend doing so. Otherwise, we can run the Diagnostic Tool to fix program issues. Before that, make sure your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) is in the latest release. This way, you have the newest features and updates. Then, follow the steps below:

  1. Close your QBDT account.
  2. Download the most recent version of the QuickBooks Tool Hub, then save the file somewhere you can easily spot it.
  3. Open the file you downloaded (QuickBooksToolHub.exe).
  4. Pay heed to the onscreen prompts to install, then agree to the terms and conditions.
  5. When the installation completes, click the icon on the Windows desktop to open the tool hub.

Once done, you’re ready to repair the technical glitches. Here’s how:

  1. In the tools hub, select Installation Issues.
  2. Go to the QuickBooks Install Diagnostic Tool. It can take up to 20 minutes.
  3. Restart your computer after, then open your data file. Check the said forms to send notification and verify if you can now save the email password.

You can read this guide to learn more ways how to resolve performance issues and optimize QBDT operations: Manage your data file.

Please don’t hold back to drop a comment if you have any other questions or feature concerns. I’d be glad to provide you further assistance. Take care always!

Forms to send notification not working properly

I did this.  Made sure QBDT is up to date, Windows is up to date, and rebooted.

Still asks for the password when sending my invoices to customers.
