"Give feedback" tool in QuickBooks Online Advanced

I've been using the "Give feedback" feature for about a year, in QuickBooks Online Advanced. I have never been able to "take a screenshot" using the tool. I always get a message window showing the tool attempting to take the screenshot, and then a "Whoops!" message window indicating that something went wrong. I always end up having to take screenshots manually, then uploading, which is time-consuming.

 

Does anyone else experience this issue? I wish they'd improve the "Give feedback" tool so that it worked properly.

It's almost like the Give Feedback button is useless.

 

Have you ever seen evidence that any your feedback is being used for future updates? I haven't.

I would recommend contacting our Live support team. They have the necessary tools to dig deeper into this and can provide insight into why the feedback tool feature isn't functioning properly on your end.

  1. Head over to the Help section and select Search.
  2. Click on Contact Us.
  3. Enter a keyword related to your concern and press Continue.
  4. Pick the option that works best for you to connect with our team.

 

For now, I know it's time-consuming to handle this manually, but we truly appreciate your patience in doing so as a workaround.

"Give feedback" tool in QuickBooks Online Advanced

@PBJ10 - no I don't see evidence that my feedback is being used for future updates. Most of the time I get a response like the one here, telling me to contact support. But that can result in a 30-40 minute phone call, with no fix or resolution. I also get generic autoresponders via email, like this:
