Has something changed about bank uploads? For weeks I get the message "we can't update your account (9999)". I can upload manually, but what's wrong with the link?

I've checked and there's nothing wrong with anything from the bank side.  I've had "we can't log in" before, but it had a link to log in (again) and I did that and it was fine. Now it just says "Something isn't working." This is different and worse than before.

The error message you're getting means the bank transactions aren't updating in QBO. This issue has been reported and is only temporary. It should resolve itself within 48 hours. If it persists, I suggest contacting our team of live support.

 

Moreover, we can check if this is a browser-related issue by logging in to a private window. We do this to pinpoint the cache that frequently results in strange behavior from browsers. To open an incognito window, you can follow these keyboard shortcuts: 

 

  • Press keys: Ctrl + Shift + P (Mozilla Firefox & Microsoft Edge browser)
  • Press keys: Ctrl + Shift + N (Google Chrome browser)
  • Press keys: Command + Shift + N (Safari browser)
