Having a problem with emails not going to customers. QB support was no help, on the phone over an hour, someone was to call back but did not. Need this resolved ASAP

My estimates and invoices are not going through to customers. Have tried to troubleshoot, then spoke with an agent on QB. Was no help and was to call back at a dedicated time the next day, but they did not! This is extremely frustrating since some of my customers have passed on work since they say they never received the email. Very unprofessional of QBO!

I completely understand your frustration, @solutions4leather. This is certainly not the level of service we aim to provide. I appreciate your efforts to troubleshoot the issue independently and the time you've spent contacting our support.

Before we get started, I just want to verify whether the invoices and estimates were successfully sent to your customers, or if there was an error when sending emails to your customer. Could you confirm this for me?

Since your customers haven't received emails, please ask them to check their junk mail and spam folders. If the email is still not found, let's clear the email field and re-enter the email addresses.

To do so, here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon, select Account and Settings under Your Company column.
  2. Navigate to Company section, then click the Pencil icon in the Contact info field.
  3. Clear the Company email field and re-enter the desired address exactly as it should be, even if it looks correct initially.
  4. Select Save, then Done.

Next, perform a test transaction by sending an email to yourself. If you still do not receive the email, consider using an alternate email address with a different domain. For example, if your initial attempt was with a Gmail address, try using a Hotmail or Yahoo address instead.

For additional guidance on fixing issues with customers not receiving emails from QuickBooks Online, refer to this article: Troubleshoot if customers aren't receiving emails from QuickBooks Online.

If the issue persists, I highly recommend you contact our support team once more for deeper investigation into your issue. They have the necessary tools to securely review your account details and can share screens with you to better understand and resolve the problem you're encountering. It's important to note that here in the Community, we are unable to directly access accounts due to security protocols. Keep in mind that our support team has specific available hours for contact. Use this article for guidance: Support Hours.

If you still have concerns about why your invoices and estimates are not reaching your customers, please feel free to leave your queries in the comments below. I'll be here to assist you!

Thank you for your help!  I have worked on the suggestion you have made. I sent an estimate last night and have had no response. Ill

know later today when I ask if the customer received this. I have no faith in customer service at this time since it wasted my time a few days ago.

Thank you for your response!  I have followed your suggestions. I’ll know later today if it has worked. I emailed a test one to my personal and it went through but I have yet to hear from the customer. I hope it has worked. It would figure since I finally decided to accept payments through qbo.
