How do I add accountant Adjusting Journal Entries?

An adjusting journal entry is a type of journal entry that changes an account's total balance. Accountants access can only make these adjustments to correct minor errors or to record uncategorized transactions, Joe.

You can instead invite your accountant to your QuickBooks account to add those adjusting Journal Entries. They can access all of the features available in your version at no cost to you. Here's how:

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online as a primary admin.
  2. Select the Gear icon, then select Manage Users.
  3. Select the Accountants or Accounting Firms tab.
  4. Enter your accountant’s email address, then select Invite.

Check this article to view other details on how to know they accepted your invitation and steps to remove your accountant: Find out what happens when you invite your accountant.
