Here's how:
- Sign in to TurboTax Online.
- Select the Help (question mark) icon from the menu to open the TurboTax Assistant.
- Enter your question, or type in Talk to a specialist.
- Follow the prompts to set up a call.
- Free Edition (without PLUS): This is not covered, so when you select Talk to a specialist, you'll be asked to add PLUS benefits first.
As a workaround, you may consider transferring your data to QuickBooks Desktop before importing it into TurboTax. You can download a trial version of QuickBooks Desktop. Subsequently, you can migrate your data from the Online version to QuickBooks Desktop.
Once done, follow these steps to transfer your data to Turbo Tax Business:
- Sign in to your TurboTax and go to the File menu.
- Select Import.
- Click the From Accounting Software.
- Select QuickBooks and click Continue.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.
