How do I correctly delete a recurring invoice? I deleted this month's but I don't know if I deleted the recurrence.

Where do I verify that the recurrence is deleted for the person who left our group and will no longer be paying monthly rent?

Welcome to the Community, @hepheather! You posted in the right forum. I'm here to share how you can delete a recurring invoice and determine if you removed the correct one this month.

Whenever you eradicate or change something in QuickBooks Online (QBO), there's a specific section where you can review if the modifications performed are correct or not see the original details that have been cut out in the software. This is the Audit log tab. It will show 150 records at a time for most transactions and activities done in the system.

Here's how:

  1. Ensure that you have the admin login and go to the Settings icon.
  2. Choose the Audit log below the Tools column.
  3. You can specify the User to a single one. The Date changed tab should be This Month, and Events can be Deleted/Voided transactions or Recurring Templates.

To accurately remove a recurring invoice, you can go back to the Gear icon and find the Recurring transactions there.

Feel free to follow these steps:

  1. In the Lists column, select Recurring transactions.
  2. Find the one that you need to delete.
  3. Click the dropdown tab on the left corner below the Action section.
  4. Then, pick the Delete option.
  5. Choose Yes to confirm.
