How do I delete a 1099 that was an employee and should have not received 1099. They have been submitted to IRS. How do I correct this mistake

How do I delete a 1099 that was an employee and should have not received 1099. They have been submitted to IRS. How do I correct this mistake

You need to create a corrected 1099 showing zero payments.

 

QB will not do corrected 1099's so either do it by hand in ink, or use an online prep service

Do I need to submit another 1096 deducting that amount as well by hand?  Thank you
