We thank you for allowing us to help you accomplish your task of exporting estimates outside QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT). Before anything else, we'd like to inform you that the program. You can only download your sales forms or estimates as PDF files. That said, the option to export it as an Excel file is unavailable. As a workaround and to ensure you can accomplish your task, you'll want to export it as a PDF file and then look for an application that can convert it into an XLS or Excel file. We'll write down the steps to get you going:

 

  1. Access your QuickBooks Desktop company file.
  2. Go to the Customers menu, and select Customer Center.
  3. In the Transaction tab, click Estimates.
  4. Locate the estimate and open it.
  5. Click the Dropdown arrow below the Save button, and then choose Save As PDF.
  6. Enter the file name, and then click Save.
