How do I get support for Online Bill Pay?

I need to perform the simple task of entering a new bank account for a vendor I pay through QBO's Bill Pay Online. However, there is no way to make any edits to a vendor once they've been set up for bank transfers. The support button in the app sends me to QBO. Two different QBO chatters have told me QB can't help and I finally figured out how to chat with Bill.com, but they tell me they can't help me with the QBO online product. That they can't see any of that.

Now I've been on the phone with QBO for 35 minutes and he still doesn't believe me when I tell him that I use this service because he can't see an app connected.

How do I get support for Online Bill Pay?

I'd be happy to walk you through the process of editing the vendor's bank account, accounting225.

 

Before you can modify the vendor's bank information, you'll first need to change the vendor's payment method to a paper check so you'll have the option to enter the correct account or send another invitation.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Click Expenses in the left panel and go to the Vendors tab.
  2. Select a vendor to pen their profile.
  3. Check the banner on top and select accordingly:
  4. For invitations: Select Manage invite.
  5. For manual bank entry: Select Change payment method to check. 
  6. Confirm action.
  7. Once done, switch back to the  ACH option.
  8. It'll be asking you to invite the vendor to online bill pay, click the link, and enter new bank info or send a new invite to the vendor.
