How do I make a backup copy of my account . I am using QB Online and need a copy for my Google Drive

The backup feature in QuickBooks Online (QBO) depends on what QBO version you have, Kssventures.

Creating a backup file in QBO is only available in the Advanced version. If you're using this version, you'll need to turn on the Online Back-up & Restore app.

This will automatically back up your data and allow you to restore it at any time. You can also save your backups to Google Drive.

Here's how:

1. Go to Settings ⚙.
2. Select Back up company.
3. Choose the User menu.
4. Select where you want to save your backup. Click the Link on Google Drive.
5. Follow the steps to allow QuickBooks to create backups.

However, if you use the regular QBO versions(Simple Start, Essentials, or Plus), consider exporting reports and lists into an Excel file. This way, you can save copies onto your computer's hard drive. 

Here's how to export:

1. Go to Settings ⚙ and in the TOOLS column, select Export data.
2. Select the reason for exporting, then hit Continue.
3. On the Reports tab, set the date from the Pre-selected date ranges ▼ dropdown.
4. Add or remove items from the Reports and Lists tabs by turning the switch on or off.
5. Select Export to Excel.
6. Click OK to make sure that it’s done.
