Hello there, @freedomcleaningl.

I'd be glad to help you adjust the page on your screen in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

If you're using Chrome, you can adjust the zoom feature to enlarge or reduce the size of a web page.

To do this, here's how:

  1. In the upper right corner, click the vertical ellipsis icon.
  2. Then, look for the Zoom in the lists.
  • Click the plus (+) icon to make everything larger.
  • Click the minus (-) icon to make everything smaller.

Alternatively, you can also use these keyboard shortcuts:

  • Zoom in: Ctrl and +
  • Zoom out: Ctrl and -

Lastly, I've added some resources that you can browse through to quickly fix issues if the page is cut off or there is no scroll bar to view the rest of the page from when using QuickBooks:

If you still need further assistance adjusting the web page screen in QBO, feel free to let me know by dropping a comment below. I'd be glad to assist you at any time. Have a good one.

This doesn't look like it will work for those not using the online version.  I can't figure out How to adjust my Screen.

Somehow my screen size on Quickbooks has changed so that when I fill in the deposit sheet, the record button at the bottom is no longer visible.

How can I fix this?

Good day, @coppens1. I'd like to know what QuickBooks product you're using so you can apply the appropriate troubleshooting and how we can adjust your screen. Let me provide the resolution for the display issue for QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) and Online (QBO).

For QBDT, let's first change the display settings or QuickBooks. Here's how:

  1. Close your QBDT and open the Windows Start menu.
  2. Enter "QuickBooks"  into the search bar. Then, right-click the QuickBooks icon, and pick the Open file location.
  3. Right-click the QuickBooks.exe file from the folder and select Properties.
  4. Go to the Compatibility tab.
  5. Select the Disable display scaling on the high DPI settings checkbox. You can also select Change high DPI settings and then Override high DPI scaling behavior.
  6. Once done, click on Apply and then OK.

Open QuickBooks, then check your deposit sheet to see if the Record button exists. If the issue persists, you can adjust your view preferences. For more information, see this article: Fix screen issues in QuickBooks Desktop.

If you have the QBO product, you can check your browser's zoom settings. You can click these links based on what you're using:

Moreover, your computer's display settings are important so QBO can display all pages properly. Here are the requirements that should be met:

  • Screen resolution set to 1024x768 or higher
  • Dots-per-inch (DPI) set to "Normal" or "100%"

You can visit this article for more details: Unable to see the entire page in QuickBooks Online.

If you want to learn how to place your transactions to correct accounts automatically for both QBDT and QBO, feel free to visit these articles:

Leave a reply below if you have additional questions about your missing record button or any display concerns. We'll be willing to lend a hand. Keep safe always.
