In QuickBooks Desktop, you cannot convert an Invoice to a Memorized Estimate to use in future transactions. However, you can manually create a new Estimate using the same details from the invoice and memorize that estimate.
To memorize a new Estimate in QuickBooks Desktop, follow these steps:
- Create the estimate as usual and go to the Customers menu.
- After entering all details, go to the Edit menu.
- Select Memorize Estimate.
- In the Memorize Estimate window, enter a name for the Memorized Estimate.
- Choose how often to remind you (e.g., monthly, yearly) or select Do not remind me.
- Click OK to save the Memorized Estimate.
This allows you to reuse the estimate without re-entering details each time.
