I’d be glad to help you view the transactions under your parent account.
It’s possible that you’re not seeing any transactions under your parent account because of the date. You’ll need to change the date on your balance sheet. Let me show you how:
By filtering the Report period, it allows you to view transactions recorded on the account from any date.
You can also click on the Customize button on the Balance Sheet report to add more columns for a more detailed view. Once done, you can click on Save Customization to save the report to your Customer Reports tab.

I figured this out! I ran a Transaction Detail by Account report and was able to see the individual transactions under the parent and each sub account. Since I had to go back several years, it was easiest to do it one year at a time. This idea came from another person in the QBO community. Thank you!!

I’m glad that you’ve found the correct report to view the transactions under your parent account.
You can save your Transaction Detail by Account report in your Custom Reports tab by clicking on Save Customization.
