How do I set an alert if I'm entering an invoice date that is 30 days prior to today or 30 days or more in the future?

The option to set an alert for invoice dates more than 30 days before or after the current date is unavailable, Tery. However, QuickBooks Online (QBO) integrates with many other business tools and apps to help streamline your workflows.

You can consider using a third-party app that offers this functionality and integrates with the program. Check the QuickBooks App Store or go to the Apps menu within your company file.

Here’s how:

  1. From the left menu, select Apps.
  2. Go to the Find apps tab.
  3. Enter the app name in the search bar or select the Browse category dropdown menu to check out different apps.

Moreover, you can regularly review invoice dates to ensure they are within the desired range.
