How do I set up the card reader?

Hi Nausheena. You can get your card reader set up by charging the Bluetooth card reader using the USB cable that came with it. Once fully charged, you can pair it with the GoPayment app.

Here’s how to set it up  based on the version of the GoPayment app you’re using:

For the Green GoPayment app:

1. Enable Bluetooth on your mobile device.
2. Press and hold the button on the side of the card reader until the light blinks green to turn it on.
3. Open the GoPayment app.
4. Go to More, then Hardware.
5. Choose Card Readers from the list.
6. Under the Type section, choose Bluetooth.
7. Select Add a new reader, then pick the card reader name from the list to complete pairing.

On the other hand, if you have the blue GoPayment app, here's how to do it:

1. Turn on Bluetooth on your mobile device.
2. Press and hold the button on the side of the card reader until the light blinks green and the reader turns on.
3. Open the GoPayment app.
4. Tap Menu and select Settings, then Card Reader.
5. In the Type section, select Bluetooth.
6. Select Add a new reader, then choose the card reader name under My Card Readers to pair it.

Once your card reader is ready, you can process payments right away by tapping the Plus (+) icon and selecting New Payment.
