how do you track time for a contractor using QuickBooks workforce?

First, make sure you have set up your contractor details in QBO/QB Time. This will make things easier. That way, you'll be able to track your contractors seamlessly. Follow these steps:

1. In QB Time, go to QuickBooks Payroll in the top right corner.

2. Click on Preferences and check the box for Import contractors as team members.

3. Close that window. Click on QuickBooks Payroll again and select Import. After the import is complete, go to My Team and check if all your contractors appear.

4. Click on each contractor and send them an invitation to track their time.

Finally, follow these steps to track and submit your time in QuickBooks Workforce:

5. Enter any required fields, like Notes, if necessary.

6. Click Clock In. Your timer will start.
