Hi there, SuncoastTodd.
Thank you for visiting the QuickBooks Community. I'll share details on how the Square app works in QuickBooks Online, then ensure you can achieve your goal by performing the alternative steps below. Also, I'll point you to the right support team to assist you further with your concern.
Please know that the imported data in QuickBooks Online depends on what your bank 3rd party or Square app shares with us and how they're posted or set up in the mentioned app. With this, please keep in mind that You can only change the location, item, and custom settings for the Connect to Square app from app settings but can't add a new location from there.
For now, you can disconnect the Square app from QuickBooks as a workaround. Then, set up the Connect to Square app again to QBO and make sure to choose the Square locations you want to sync with QuickBooks. Then, use the dropdown menu to choose the bank account where you want to deposit that location’s sales and click Next.
However, I still suggest contacting the Square Support Team because they have the tools to check and provide you an alternative detailed information on how you can add a new location after the app has been connected to QBO.
I'm also adding this article to further guide you in effectively managing your business using QBO: Help guide for QuickBooks Online. It contains topics about advanced accounting, banking, and payments to name a few.
