Hi there, @progressivefores.
Thanks for taking the time to reach out to the QuickBooks Community for support. I hope you're enjoying the day so far.
In QuickBooks Online, you can set up a bill reminder using our bill reminder template. This way, you can receive an alert when a transaction becomes due. I've included some steps to set up the bill reminder template below.
- Click the Gear icon.
- Under Lists, select Recurring Transactions.
- Click the Reminder List button in the upper right-hand corner.
- Click the New button in the upper right-hand corner.
- Select Bill as the type and click OK.
- Enter the Template name, select Reminder as the Type, and enter the number of days before the transaction date.
- Select a vendor (you can change this later when using the template to create the bill), enter the Interval and the Start/End dates.
- Enter the details of the bill.
- Click Save template.
To use the template to create a bill:
- From the Recurring Transactions list, find the template you created.
- Click the drop-down arrow below the ACTION column.
- Select Use.
You can also check this article o learn more about the templates for recurring transactions.
Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns about this process. Take care!
