Welcome to the Community, John. Thank you for reaching out to us in this forum. You can use the Search field or run a report to locate a customer using their account number. I'll show you how below.
Beforehand, determining how you add the account number for each customer is essential to identify the most appropriate steps to achieve your goal. With that said, did you enter the details in the readily available fields or by creating a custom field?
If you're using the built-in fields, you can use the Search bar. This option is located at the top right corner of your screen, as shown in this screenshot:

If you use a custom field, you can run the Customer Contact List report and add the account number column. Here's how:
- Click Report, then proceed to the Standard reports tab.
- Utilize the search field to locate and open the Customer Contact List.
- Once launched, the customization process will depend on your view.
For Modern View, click Columns and check the account number.

For Classic View, select the Customize button and go to the Rows/Columns section. Click the checkbox beside the account number, then Run report.

- Click on the customer's name to visit their profile.
