Record the donations on 12/31. Typically use a sales receipt. Then include the sales receipts in a deposits whenever you create the deposit.
When you're ready to create donor statements, which QB won't do, use our BRC Donor Statements - Desktop app. I'll pull the data from QB and create the statements in letter form and with a table of donations for a period, like a year.

Thank you so much for your help. So QB wont allow me to print a year-end donation receipt. Is the BRC Donor Statement App easy to use and compatible with QB?
