The steps to remove your credit card depend on the specific card you're referring to, pvcastle.
To delete the card associated with the billing and subscriptions, you'll first need to update your billing information, as the payment method can only be deleted if it's not the active billing method for any Intuit products.
Here's how:
- Sign in to QuickBooks Self-Employed using a web browser.
- Select your profile ⚙, then Billing info.
- In the Payment Information section, select Edit ✎.
- Select Add New within the wallet listing.
- Select Credit/Debit Card or Bank Transfer and add payment method details.
- Select Save payment method to my Intuit profile.
- When you’re ready, select Save and Use.
Once done, you can now remove your credit card on file. Follow the steps below:
- Sign in to the Intuit Account Manager.
- Select Payment methods.
- Look for the payment method you want to remove, and select it to expand details.
- Select Remove card next to the payment method name.
On the other hand, if you're referring to the card account connected to online banking, all related transactions will also be removed. For steps, see the Delete your bank accounts and transactions section in this article. Delete bank and transaction data.
