Setting up a credit payment convenience fee in QuickBooks Online is unavailable, @beachlifehbnc. However, we can create a service and manually add it to the invoice. Here's how:
- Go to the Create and tick the Add product/service.
- Click on New, then choose Service.
- Enter the name of your service item. (Example CC Fee)
- Select the account you'd use to track the processing fees.
- Once done, hit Save and Close.
After creating the service item, you can add the credit card fee as an additional line item on invoices whenever charging customers for processing fees.
Here's how:
- Go to the Create and select Invoice.
- From the Product or Service drop-down column, choose the charge convenience fee you created.
- Click Save and Close.
