How to set up a warning when approaching credit limit

Is there a way to set up a warning to come up when a customer is approaching their credit limit?

Example:

a pop up warning when a customer is $1000 away from reaching their credit limit on quick books point of sale.

Any thoughts?

How to set up a warning when approaching credit limit

Hello there, michelledurangonursery.

Thanks for reaching out to us. Allow me to address your concern, so let me get this straightened out.

As of now, Point of Sale doesn't have an option to set up a warning notification once the customer reaching their credit limit. However, whenever you're processing a sale and using the payment method as charge to account, it will give you the running balance of the credit limit.

I can see how this feature would be beneficial to your business, I'd recommend sending feedback directly to our product developers for future updates.

Here's how you can send feedback:

  1. Open QuickBooks.
  2. Go to Help.
  3. Choose Send Feedback Online.
  4. Select Product Suggestion.

Let me know if you have any other concerns, I'm always here to help. Wishing you continued success.
