How to track Sick and Vacation time available in Quickbooks Time Premium

I have Quickbooks Time Premium and i tried to download a report of sick and vacation used and the balances of them for each employee. My balances were all zero. Any idea how to set up this report to show vacation and sick time balances with the amount used.

How to track Sick and Vacation time available in Quickbooks Time Premium

Let me walk you through how to set up sick and vacation time balances for your employees in QuickBooks Time (QB Time).

 

Before running a report, let's individually set up the time off accruals for them. 

 

Here's how to set up and run a report for Sick time balances:

 

  1. On your QB Time account, go to Feature Add-ons and select Time Off Codes.
  2. On the Sick section, click the pencil icon.
  3. Choose whether it's Paid or Unpaid.
  4. Assign the accruals to your team members.
  5. Check the box for Track Accruals and click Edit settings.
  6. Under the Accrual Settings dropdown, you can either select ManualYearlyEvery Pay Period, or Based on Hours Worked. Once done, click Apply.
  7. To download a report of your Sick time balances, click Download.
  8. When finished, select Save.

 

You can perform the same steps for the vacation time balances, but select Vacation on the second step.
