Hello there, Afernow.
To undo the previous reconciliation, you'll need to change the status in the register by switching it from "R" (Reconciled) to blank.
Here's how:
- Go to the Accounting menu and select Chart of Accounts.
- Find the account and click View Register.
- To focus on this task, filter the register to include the last 60 days of transactions.
- Check the column for reconciled transactions; an R indicates a reconciled transaction.
- Click the box repeatedly until it's empty, which removes the transaction from the reconciliation.
- Select Save, then close your register.

Please note that you can un-reconcile one transaction at a time. If you need to undo an entire reconciliation period, I recommend reaching out to your accountant using QuickBooks Online Account.
Here's how to invite your accountant:
- Go to the Gear icon in the upper-right corner and select Manage Users.
- Go to the Accounting Firms tab, then click the Invite button.

- Enter the accountant's information.
- Click Save.
Your accountant will then have the ability to undo the entire reconciliation.
After completing the reconciliation process, you're ready to close out the year and protect your financial data from unwanted changes before filing your taxes. For detailed steps, please refer to this article: Close your books in QuickBooks Online.
