@yprz RE: How do I undo revert if I hit by mistake when editing an invoice?
You can't. When reverting, QuickBooks doesn't remember what you changed, and instead just reloads the saved version of the invoice.
Thank you for contacting us here in the Community forum, yprz.
Reverting the invoice will remove the recent changes. If you didn't save the changes, you can close the invoice by clicking the X button.
Once done, open again the invoice and you'll see the original details. If you save the changes, you're unable to undo revert. You have to enter again the details.
When creating invoices in QuickBooks Desktop, there's a workflow that you can follow to organize your book. Check out this article as your guide: Learn the different ways you can track customer transactions in QuickBooks Desktop.

Hello MarylandT,
Thank you so much for your response.
If I hit the X and close, wouldn't I be losing the unsaved edits I did prior to hitting the revert by mistake??
Thank you kindly once again.
Thanks for getting back to me, yprz.
You'll lose all unsaved edits once you click the X button before hitting Revert. The purpose of the Revert button is to undo all changes before saving the invoice.
To prevent this from happening, you can right-click the Revert button. Then, duplicate the invoice so you won't lose the original details of the transaction.
There are other options when you right-click the Revert. You can even copy or receive payments.
